FORMATION OF THE CONTRACTUAL RELATIONSHIP

The contractual relationship is formed when the electronic confirmation is sent to the Guest. Changes or cancellations may only be made within the scope of these T&C's

If a third party has acted on the guest’s behalf, the guest shall be jointly and severally liable to the hotel together with the third party for all obligations that arise from or in connection with their stay at the hotel.

Prices

  1. The prices for the hotel services are stated exclusively in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include statutory value-added tax as stipulated under Swiss law.
  2. In the event of a change in the statutory value added tax (VAT) or the introduction, amendment or abolition of local taxes, the prices shall be adjusted accordingly.
  3. Guarantee, billing, advance payment
  4. Each booking must be guaranteed by means of a valid credit card.
  5. Any agreed advance payment must be received before the guest’s departure. Failing this, the Guest shall pay the remaining balance upon departure.
  6. The guest is obligated to pay the agreed or applicable prices of the hotel for the services used by the guest. This also applies to services ordered by the guest directly or via the hotel, which are provided by third parties and paid for by the hotel.
  7.  Payment via website and digital guest system (webshop)
  8. For payment and purchases of our services  via our website www.madretreat.ch or TAC LINK and this digital guest system (Referred to as "webshop"), the present "General terms and conditions" (T&C's), Privacy Policy and legal notice apply. In order to make a purchase via our webshop, the "General terms and conditions" (T&C's) must be accepted.
  9. All our services are offered incl. statutory value added tax (VAT) and in Swiss francs (CHF) in the webshop. Cardholders have the free choice (DCC) between currency of the webshop and the currency of the card (for payments with the card brands Mstercard, Visa, Maestro, Diners Club, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Paypal and Twint are possible).
  10. The hotel ensures secure operation of the webshop. Your card information (card number, card verification value CVV2, CVC2, CID, etc.) is transferred via a secured and encrypted connection (min. 128-bit SSL). Your credit card and payment information will not be shared with third parties. We store your payment method information for future transactions only after obtaining your consent.
  11. Right of return, withdrawal of payment in the webshop by credit card, the agreed withdrawal periods of the respective card organization apply. For already used services there is no right of withdrawal.

CANCELLATION POLICY for massages & therapies & activities

We are committed to providing exceptional service to our clients while ensuring fair compensation for our therapists.  To achieve this balance, we have established the following policy regarding last-minute cancellations and no-shows.

The Cancellation & NO-SHOW

Cancellations more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment can be done by email or phone call or at reception.

Less than 24 hours cancellations via text or email will be considered invalid and the client will be charged the full amount of the reserved service.

DEFINITIONS:

Last-Minute Cancellation:

A cancellation made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time.

If we can fill your changed/cancelled appointment time, you will NOT be charged a fee. You are welcome to send a friend to take your appointment to avoid these fees.

No-Show:

Guests who do not show up for their appointment without contacting us will be considered a ‘NO SHOW’ and therefore will incur the full cost of consultation.

Late-Arrival:

A client who arrives more than 15 minutes late for their scheduled appointment time.

If you are late, we may not be able to provide the full duration of your appointment, however full payment is required.

 

SPA / WELLNESS

We kindly ask that you always follow the instructions of the staff.

For a pleasant stay you will need the following for sauna visits; slippers (required outside the sauna cabins), towel for showering, bath towel for sitting and lying in the saunas and deck chairs. Wearing a bathrobe is mandatory in the rest and dining areas.

To fully enjoy the saunas and rest rooms, we ask you to observe silence and be considerate of other guests.

For hygienic reasons, in hot dry areas, including the saunas, it is mandatory to take a seat on a towel.

Your personal belongings should be kept locked in lockers.

Spa Wellness accepts no liability with respect to damage to property and/or persons. Barring gross misconduct or negligence.

Sauna visits can have a positive impact on your health. However, if you have any doubts regarding medication or conditions, you should consult your own physician. 

We ask that you check out no later than closing time. (hours: 10 AM to 9 PM)

Consumption of self-brought food and beverages is not permitted.

Glasses, plates, cutlery, glass water bottles and similar sharp and/or breakable products, may not be brought into the saunas and/or baths.

Disruptive behavior, including (but not limited to), harassment, aggression, loudness and use of drugs will not be tolerated. Guests who do not comply with this must leave our premises at the first request of the staff.

Alcohol and sauna do not mix well. The staff is authorized, for your and our safety, to refuse to serve alcohol to guests when they feel it is not responsible. Keep your fluids well by drinking water.

Diving or jumping into pools is not allowed.

Before using the sauna and baths, it is mandatory to shower. This is not only hygienic but also part of healthy sauna visiting.

Smoking or the use of alternative smoking materials is not permitted.
